Lynda Sheridan

A top family attorney with an Avvo "Superb" rating and a Super Lawyer selectee, M. Lynda Sheridan is sole practitioner at the Law Offices of Lynda Sheridan. She represents clients in California, with a focus on the Southern California area in matters of family law. These issues may include asset division often involving complex business and financial issues, dissolution of marriage, income support from the self-employed, child custody, visitation, paternity actions, business evaluations, debt and asset division, spousal support representation, "move-away" representation, and post- and prenuptial agreements.

Ms. Sheridan became a Certified Family Law Specialist in 2005 after successfully completing the qualifications set by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. As a CA licensed real estate broker, she also handles matters of real estate law and is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit.
Ms. Sheridan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration whereby she gained knowledge and skills of business matters.  She attended Southwestern Law School where she earned her Juris Doctor. For over three decades, she has advocated for the best interests and rights of individuals and businesses and has a long, successful track record to prove her dedication to her clients. Ms. Sheridan is fully prepared to litigate any issue to get the best result in every case.

Ms. Sheridan is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and serves on the Family Law Executive Committee.  She has taught and organized several continuing legal education seminars for LACBA.  She also gives back to the community by serving on the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law Board of Directors and also serves on the Southwestern Law School Alumni Board, currently the 2025 President.  As her clients navigate complicated emotional and legal matters, she is a knowledgeable, compassionate resource with an eye on their future.
